Can someone at least tell me noise wise how the Toyo M/T's compare to the BFG A/T's.

Still no pics?

The Toyos are way louder, with the BFG's or Yokos you have to listen to hear them, usually wont notice any tire noise, with the toyo M/T's you will allways hear them, there not super loud, you could have a normal conversation in the truck, given how aggresive the tread is there are actually pretty quiet but not as quiet as an A/T.

Try bringing your truck into a tire shop for a rebalance and rotation, only to hit the freeway and experience dw. I went out and bought the '08. 5 upgrade and had it aligned. Experienced it again and returned to the tire shop. The guy who "balanced" the tires was nowhere to be found. Two other tire guys redid them after checking the balance job the other guy had done the day before. They were an average of 4 ozs off! Nice, must have been the guy's last day. I should have just returned to the shop in the first place.

That was with Toyo At's,but with the balance all out of whack.

Yup, or if somone is dead set that tires cant cause DW try running BFG projects, they will change there mind real fast.

I am running Hankook ATZ 295/70 R17 ERated (cheaper than BFG's by far and awsome in the snow, ice and mud). I have always run BFG AT's on my trucks but switched to Hankook and been very happy. I have stock suspension all the way around. I upgraded the wheels but they are still 17s. You will have plenty of room in the rear up to 315 but you will have to trim on the front to run 315's. I had discount tire mount a set on the front to try to see how much rub there would be. That will all go away with a leveling kit. #ad

I have not run BFG's on my Dodge, but have run them on two Fords, a 94 Bronco, and a 96 1/2 ton pickup, they were quiet. My Toyo MT's can be heard, but not as loud as one would expect from the aggressive tread design, however they do seem to be getting louder as they wear.

Thanks for the info, I think I am going to go with the 295/70/17 Toyo M/T's.

I don't drive the truck that much so the size, looks and Toyo reputation are going to outweigh the extra noise.

I have ran BFG T/A KO D 315-70-17 for over 1000,000 miles with no trouble at all. I have a

2500 lb truck camper no trouble. I just got a set of E rated 315-70-17 Dueler A/T Revo 2 tires and they seem like they have a a lot of side wall flex that i didn't have with the D rated tire.

I've ridden behind a friend's '05 3500 qclb 4wd w/utility bed and a Callen cabover shell model. The sidewalls on his BFG 315's bow out bigtime. Driving it is a chore. Your Bridgestone's may need to get a few miles on them.

My former Toyo AT's as well as my current MT's do not exhibit a trace of squirm.

I've had 315/70/17 BFG A/T's on my 3500 that lasted 46k. Then I switched to the Bridgestone Dueler A/T Revo 2's in the same size because I wanted an "E" rated tire even though they have the same load limit per tire. Have been very happy with them without issues.
