Yeah, you can call me an idiot. That's the most intelligent comment you have to offer in most discussions.

KIND OF LIKE THE POT CALLIN THE KETTLE BLACK IS IT NOT?

2 weeks ago I paid $3. 719 a gallon for D#2 at a Chevron station in Ontario California. A week ago I paid $3. 699 at the same station. Yesterday I paid $3. 659, again at the same station. Seems the price of, at least Diesel, is coming down. 6 weeks ago I was paying over $4. xxx (sorry, don't have those receipts) at the same station.

I know I don't post very often, but all I own and drive are Diesel powered vehicles. I can't tell you the local, or any other area, price of gas. I do know that Gas is higher than Diesel in my area. It's about time too. For years it was that way.

I can go on and on, but I won't Didn't mean to hijack this discussion.

Wish we could find $3. 49 or $3. 59. Here is Nampa/Caldwell the best if $3. 77. I did see a sign for $3. 69 but was with someone else and didn't want to ask them to go back to check if it was a "real" price. Will let you know, Di

"Fuel" for my Goldwing, 87 octane regular, was $3. 11 @ SAM's Club today. 40 mpg too.

My Dodge Ram is ignored and lonely out in the barn these days. Haven't driven it for weeks and don't plan to.

Yup, Sam's Club and CostCo most always have the lowest prices on gas out here. Too bad they don't have Diesel. With the lines as they are, they would be even longer at the pump if they had Diesel.

Lots of SAM's Clubs in TX offer diesel fuel as well. The club in Lubbock sells diesel. I think the sign today said it was $3. 43/gallon.

Unfortunately California usually has the highest fuel prices. It's nice to see Diesel lower than Gas. I'm surprised it's the other way out there. Texas and Oklahoma usually have lowest fuel process. At least it was that way when I would travel out that way several years back. I wonder what the prices will be come Independence Day! The 4th isn't a weekend, so who knows.

Please use Chevron I still have stock in tha company its better than the others gets better milage and they love that you spend your money in them ME TOO

Sams Clubs here in Vegas have Diesel. It is not always the cheapest in town.

I filled my BMW yesterday at a Rebel station for $3. 38/Gallon. Sams Club was $3. 59/gallon.

It's probably my fault, I bought a VW TDI and pretty much figured that Diesel would go nuts as soon as I put it on the road. Diesel started to go up as soon as I filled the tank for the first time.

Sorry... ... ... ... :eek::-laf

Mike. :)

A lot of it has to do with the refinery fire down by SF the other day. (Im pretty convinced that refinery fires have become a standard business practice of the oil companies. Something that would have been at least mitigated had congress not allowed all of the mergers and thus severely diminishing competition)

What I dont understand is why will gas and diesel in Wa go up because of a fire in a ? In western wa, we get ALL of our gas/diesel from the refineries in anacortes. And all of the oil they get is from alaska. Over in newport, I believe that they get all of their oil from Canada. Im not sure where the refineries are for that area, but Im pretty sure they are not serviced by anything in ca.

It has to do with "Because they can" more than anything else. Gas is up about fourty cents around here in last thirty days. bg
