So... . I don't feel like skimming through 33 pages right now, but did you upgrade to 9/16 or 5/8 wheel lug studs? Just curious...

:D

So, with fall in the air, winter on the horizon, and the NV5600 conversion completed in the '90... is there any chance of you spending some time again with your true love? :)

Enafziger: I had asked bschwarzli that last night. He's still busy with 15 hour days at work so the crew is sitting for now.

PFFFFFTTTT!!!! That leaves him like, 8 hours of work time!?!?! (given he takes an hour or so to eat and shower..... )

Oh, sorry, I was thinking like my dad... ... . :D

HHhuntitall: I'm sure if someone can come up with some sort of device or... to help us stay awake for 24 hrs without needing sleep, mr Schwarzli can finish his project. :D:-laf:-laf

Wellll, I can think of several things... the first is not really something to be discussed in public in detail, but it involves a high voltage, low impedence capacitor, sensitively located, with a solar panel on the head (handy for those going bald!!) Two wires, a small battery, and you'll be awake for weeks at a time!!!

Lightning storms may make you nervous, though... .

No. But I can get the rims to work with both so i will likely leave it as is.

Sadly, Shawn is right. Has been ugly last few months. I just noticed today that it has been a month since I was last on here! I have not been away from here for that long since the day I joined in 03!

LOL Smart butt. :D

Enafziger: since Bscwarzli is busy, I'll fill in the blanks. Since about New Years, he had himself locked in his barn, wrenching away on the W350 project. He's hoping to have the project completed as much as possible with about 5,000 k driving time on it before he travels to Indiana for the Cummins plant tour.

While he was wrenching away, he ended up smacking his head on the truck's air tank valve and was sidelined for a bit.

His garage door tried to attract his attention from the project as well by playing dead and flopping on the floor. So that had to be fixed.

So far major effort has been made and its all looking good. :D

I noticed he had a service sticker on windshield, i cant believe that he builds a truck, and then has some monkey do a service on it..... i hope not:confused:

That's the best update this thread has had in months!
Maybe you should go over the BSchwarzli's and provide some "Accident Prevention Supervision".
Take a few six-packs with you! :D

Jhumphries: I have offered my ASSistance to Bschwarzli, but no one is allowed in his barn. He wants no distractions, said enough time has gone by. Even though I'm his Vice President, his shop is locked down tighter than Fort Knox.

Plus being that he lives 3 hours away from me, it's not practical for me to go over for one day of talking, wrenching and go home.

Both the clunk on the head and the garage door playing dead on the floor I think took about 2 days off the W350. That's plenty of distractions for the president already.

LOL NO ONE works on my vehicles other than me. Well, and my father. And occasionally a friend will help if there is heavy stuff I need assistance with.....

But for the sticker, when you restore a vehicle your parts dept at your dealer likes you. ;) So when you ask for a few window decals so you can keep track of your oil changes, they gave me a pack! :) They are good folks there actually!

Six packs? Thats the reason I have my garage on lockdown! I MUST get this thing done! Enough of this getting distracted business!

And yes, there may have been a concussion, whiplash, and some blood involved with the truck this year... . ;)

I just found this thread. Absolutely awesome work.

Thank you!

As for the project, I guess Sray already covered it. So why bother with pics or anything..... I will leave it be.

Had you all worried didn't I? :D

So far this year I have about 150 hours into the truck. Have made great leaps! I have not posted much here as I have been trying to do more work and less distractions. Call it my plan for 2013. I really want to get this project done so I literally have avoided any forms of social gatherings (at my place or other peoples), evenings after work are spent in the garage, weekends are also in the garage. I have still been taking pictures of everything but have just tried to avoid using the computer too much unless I need info... . Basically trying to ensure I maximize my time. I really do want the truck done for CMEP 2013 so thats what I am pushing for. I don't believe I will have much shake down time on the truck to actually make the trip to IN on its own power (not wise unless I have 5,000+ miles to ensure I have no issues), but that wont stop me from towing it down! But the first thing is it needs to get done... .

Yes, you had me very worried!!! If it doesn't bother you, I have no point in causing a problem!!!! :{

Remember Mr. BSchwarzli, there's no time like the present!! :D Hammer-down!! The West wasn't won by cautious men!!
