We used to have a large German Shepherd - my favorite breed - and asked our insurance agent about posting warning signs as to "Beware of Dog", and the agent advised against it, stating that a sign like that can be used in court in case of an "incident", to prove we were negligent in knowingly putting visitors at risk by keeping that dog around...
We had some visitors yesterday and our Door Bell's (our Dog's) Got on their car and most DEFENITALY IN THEIR FACE :-laf
We have Private Property Signs 2 of them YOU CANT MISS!!!! at the gate to the drive
Going to add a few more your thoughts and choice would be welcomed![]()
Exactly what we were told, had to sign a waiver excluding our German Shepard from our Homeowner's Insurance. Our Boy has never bitten a soul, but has been more effective than any of our signs. Here's Fritz, pure black, pure bred, from the Bear Cub Kennel Club.
I realize the signs are a means to deter, if you ever had to back up their meaning, some would claim premeditation... I hate lawyers.
This is our sightseer/unwanted sales call prevention device. If you don't have the gate code, you don't get in.
