This Gentleman is more than a "Mule Skinner", Hunter, Farmer, Truck driver, and all around mechanic!

BIG Can sing and play a guitar!

Mrs. Wright has given me permission to share this with the TDR crew.

BIG is going to a concert in Las Vegas this evening. The Artists playing there will surprise BIG by asking him up on the Stage and

giving him the opportunity to "show his stuff"!

I havent heard You sing and play in person, BIG, but I heard the stories!

The reason for this surprise is that BIG gave up performing opportunities for his Family over the years. It was only a dream!

So now His Family is involved in returning the Favor!

Heres to you and your Family! Prayers sent on your behalf!

We will be going North to Oregon to look at some RV's along the way, We hope to do some traveling in the future and will sure take you up on the offer when in the area. We are going to be very busy this spring,summer,fall the family is ONE again with Son and Daughter in Montana. We have been working on the Daughters house and hope to have it done before the spring so we can attack the Son's house and Son and FIL's Cattle ranch projects that are set up and ready to go and are just waiting for some clear ground to start them. With as much as we have to get done before next winter dont know if we will be getting much if any time in the mountains this year. They have been there for eon's so I cant imagine that they will go away anytime soon. But I miss our time afield that is what keeps me as sane as I am :-laf:-laf

I hope that we can all get together sometime and just have a get down, hoe down or what ever down (im sure that Gary is going to chime in on this point :-laf ) I hope she gets some pictures also. I have been waking up and wondering if its all been a dream lately or if im coming too from another surgery or something. Penny and I are selling our property in So Calif and the amount that a developer is willing (willing is an optional word to them im sure) pay for 5 acres is STAGGERING to say the least, its life changing for us.

Gary Penny is sitting here next to me as we are responding to this, she was the one that contacted Greg to have him post it if he would because of the problems that TDR has been having. She posted a request (again without me knowing) for info to produce a youtube video and got no response so until we have time to figure it out the video will be in limbo. The Hotel made a video and gave it to me along with 3 $1. 00 bills and a $5. 00 poker chip in a frame A SUPER NICE GUESTURE FROM THEM TO ME as PROOF that at least 1 time in my career :-laf I was a Professional Country Singer. It may not seem like much but my music has gotten me thru many hard times in my life and made a better life for others that could use a little sunshine in their day

It takes NO courage to get up on stage! It takes courage to open a mouth to let sound out :-laf When we stated I had not had my usual 3 bottles of courage and I was PRETTY FREAKED OUT. The band started and at the point that I was supposed to let go so the band went thru it again and again Jim my BIL walked over covered the mike and said HEY BIG I THINK YOUR SUPPOSED TO SING HERE!!!! my response

Penny came to the front of the stage and said im here BIG!! Frigg-in lights were so bright that I couldn't see anything but her. So the band started again and this time I LET IT RIP!!! Nothing was being thrown at me???? so I thought MUST BE DOING OK!!!! sang a few songs to Penny most times that is how I get over being she and I are the only ones in the place. Some ya hoo said he was going to sleep out in the audience and I said OK let me hear what you want me to sing!!!! This time Jim was I made them a deal I sing 3 for you and I get 1 for the pretty lady at the front of the stage and away we went for 2 hours. :-laf



Our folks are awesome without them im nothing.

Did our thing and SOLD THE PROPERTY TODAY!!!!! kind of bitter sweet lots-o-memories here.



The motorised leg is ok! it works almost as good as the OEM :-laf cant hardly tell that I have it with pants on. Today in So Cal its a really nice day so im wearing shorts and took the crew over to the Ontario Mills Mall one of the country's biggies and the men went to Bass Pro Shops store in Rancho Cucamonga. People stare at the leg and its like im some kind of Terminator thing HOW DOES IT WORK? and a bunch of questions that makes ABSOLUTLEY NO FRIGGING DIFFERENCE to their life, SO WHY ASK??? The mechanical leg is FAR MORE obvious that I have but it is hard to work cause I have to swing the leg to make if move, Its just an old technology that CAN TAKE WHAT I DO TO IT working around the animals that the motorised cant take the extra weight that is involved.

No No I wont leave our home in MT until im in a box with the lid nailed shut. It was the last property that we had in So Calif the price wasn't there when we moved to MT so we hung on to it and a family member was living there and going to school at University Of Riverside. He finished school and is going to the Galápagos Islands off the coast of Ecuador. He's the Brother of Jason my wife's brothers son. He is a Wildlife Biologist and CHITS brains just to make room for more :-laf He was the one that we went on the Bear Study for on his School Project. So we have been talking and looking at some of the Photos that he has taken in his exploits in Ecuador, Penny and I both looked at eachother and said MAYBE A TRIP SOUTH OF THE BORDER is in order when he gets established. IT'S NOT MEXICO is what he said, still not Montana but MUCH MUCH BETTER than Mexico. Anyway a Developer wanted to build an Apartment complex and had bought all the surrounding property but needed ours to get the city to ok the complex. FIL is the brains of the deal and looked into the developers plans and found out that they had made plans and studies for the city,county,state and the permits were about to expire and would have to be reapplied for, if they did it would add more to the project So we HAD THEM BY THE BALLS as FIL said. It felt good for a change, House loan companies, car dealerships HAVE US ALL BY THE BALLS so a turn around FELT VERY VERY GOOD!!! They contacted us about a year ago and came to MT to talk to us. It was when I was in one of my Mountain Man Stages of life, hair long and unkept, beard long and full bib overalls, boots with I TRIED TO BY-PASS THE CUSSING FILTER you get the picture. FIL said let him look into it he and his attorney friend found the info. We let them ride and they have become more aggressive the last 6 months to buy because of the permits expiring. So when they asked about the price we gave them some out of the question answer, they responded and we finally settled on a price. When we walked in today all in suits (yes I have a very nice suit got it at a Salvation Army store in Beverley Hills so it aint a cheap one) They asked if we were representing Mr and Mrs Wright? FIL/Attorney said yes and they went to dealing on the finals of the property FIL loves this I TRIED TO BY-PASS THE CUSSING FILTER big time. When done WE CAME OUT THE VICTORS and they asked when we could get Mr and Mrs Wright in to sign the agreement? That's when I got to say RIGHT NOW!!!!!!!! The look on their face is what the FIL was waiting for We signed it and walked out to the car and FIL WENT NUTS he LOVES THIS I TRIED TO BY-PASS THE CUSSING FILTER. :-laf:-laf:-laf they paid allot for the 5 acres but would have paid more if they didnt in the long run. SO GOOD BY CALIFORNIA WITH A BIG KISS :-laf Oo.



No my leg has batteries and Micro motors is a TOP OF THE LINE Veterans Model with some added accessories for me. The one on the left is like mine the other is what a different version looks like

BIG and family visit Las Vegas.



Win money at casino.

BIG gets on stage, sings and make money.

BIG's family makes a good haul on real estate.

BIG buys expensive suit, for cheap, Penny smiles and winks.

Family has fun.

BIG and Penny are soon back in Big Sky Country.

The Mule Skinner Mountain Man finally gets his boots back in his beloved Mule poo.

BIG has a GI Bionic leg that Bond, James Bond would have had spewing oil slicks, tacks and a smoke screen as he left Kalifornia. Not sure if that's your bionic in the photo and Penny or what but it's cool.

BIG will soon make his YouTube Las Vegas singing debut soon. Remember, we get to vote on it and make comments if'n Penny don't disable the comment option.



And sorta soon the Mountains will burst into spring glory.



BIG, it don't get too much better than that.



Somebody has to have a pic at least of BIG on stage, or maybe in his suit, you better have had yer boots on w/ the suit, cannot picture lacing anything 'cept maybe snake boot or something.

Don't think that hasn't crossed my mind!!! that is until yesterday when we went to San Diego Ca to see the USS Midway a friend of the family served on it as a Navy Chaplin for a short time, quite a man to talk to. We got a little more of a tour than most because of his service. Told the wife when she came out to go, to put on some other shoes cause sandals or a dress are not for the big ships!!! well I dont have to tell ya what was said about my request. Almost done with the Ship tour and going down some stairs that were very steep she brakes an ANKLE So now the plan is to let her go home with her parents on FIL's bus Oo. Oo. and I pick up a trailer that FIL is buying and im going to North Platte NB on my way home to pickup some more of the farm equipment that my Aunt has for me. The doctor said about 6 to 8 weeks for it to get better, wife asked how long will it take you to go to Nebraska and then home BIG? ABOUT 6 to 8 weeks :-laf

Penny, sorry to hear about your twist of ankle, I mean twist of fate. BIG told me all about the WEEKLY DOZEN ROSES and BIGGER screen TV he's ordered for you just to help pass the time and mend up. Now, BIG did you say that TV is only 60" are you sure that's all the BIGger they make them? Even in MT someone should have a WALL HANGER suitable for Ms. Penny in her time of pain and discomfort.

Hello gentlemen

I would like to take a minute of your time to explain something to you that care. BIG had all intentions of posting a video of his experience in Las Vegas but I was the one that told him that I didn't want it on the Internet. Gail gives so much of himself to others that most of you don't know about children at hospitals, Veterans at the VA hospital and the elderly at the hospitals and care facilities. He gives so much I felt like there was nothing left for me at times When we went to Las Vegas he would sing three songs for the show and sing one for me. The cocktail waitress came by and asked me several times if I knew how lucky I was? At first it was just Gail having his time, but the more I talked to and watched people at the Hotel/Casino the more I realized that when he sings so call love songs he only would look at me as if we were the only two in the place. I asked him about it and he confirmed that's the way he gets the songs out and he was sorry and wont post the video.







I'm sorry it took so long to get back to you, when you live like we do (as grotesque as some think it is) if you take 3 weeks off, it takes two months of hard work to get back to normal everyday life or to catch up on things and then for me to break my ankle has put more work on BIG, he's been working way to much and the family has sent him and a friend to Sioux City Iowa to pick up a livestock trailer and stop by a cattle ranch in South Dakota to pick up some animals for my Father and Son. That's time off for this Man that I call my Husband. I hope that you can understand and forgive my petty jealousy
