How can I tell if High Output (800 lb-ft)

I'm looking at a 2011 3500 crew cab long box and was wondering how one can tell if it has the high output (800 lb-ft) engine rating?

One way to find out is determine the build date. Those built in March or later of 2011 had the 800ftlb engine. Mine is a 650, very happy with it built in February of 2011

Same exact truck except the Max Tow has 4:10's and the finned cover. Mine is a HO with 3:42's and I could put a finned cover on it and have the exact same thing except for the gears.

It should be a Cummins Sticker at the cylinderhead cover with the powerrating and other infos on it.

That was my point, that HO and the finned cover were not an automatic duo.
