Sure looks like it. You can usually find the torx sockets at better auto parts stores.

I just happened to be at an Ace hardware a few minutes ago and picked up a beautiful 7 piece set of Craftsman external Torx sockets... on clearance even!

No... not yet. That photo, compliments of TDR member gsbrockman, came from a prior thread that he started with photos that I submitted for the upcoming Issue 84.
When I saw John's question, I used that photo from my files.

My 2013 has the "real" aluminum cover, thick, perfectly machined, extra capacity, with dipstick, big fill port, drain port with magnetic plug, and Allen bolts. Mag-Hytec of course!

I'm sure going to miss having that magnetic drain plug and dipstick on the Mag-Hytec diff cover I had on my 2001. What a hassle to remove the entire cover just to drain the gear oil.

Gasket pattern is the same on the 2013 11.5 and 11.8 so the Mag Hytec should fit fine in place of the factory aluminum cover.
