That's a mean lookin' bumper for sure. I bet it weighs around 225-250 pounds. The bumper I put on my truck doesn't have the two horizontal cross pieces in the center, and instead of the angle up top it's all 1" and 2" sch 40 pipe, with similar design on the bumper and it weighs 225.

I've been thinking about installing it behind the bumper, that entails making a frame and cutting a slot in the front and i am up to it, just didn't want to mess up the powdercoat that was done to it, monte

I have a Trail Ready on my Dodge, not quite as massive, everyone teases me that the deer is processed and ready for the freezer by the time I get stopped.

What is it with Texans and their "grill" guards? Ego boaster? According to State Farm, Texas is 39th among the states in deer accidents. At least this one is not one of the styled "damage enhancer" types.

That's because enough people have deer slayers on the front very few actually have to report them :D
Kinda surprising they're that far down the list, I wonder what Ohio is ranked. I know in my area you gotta have your head on a swivel during rut, but that may not be the case everywhere else.

I've had my "top gun" on my 06 CTD 8 yrs w/no problem w/shocks or springs--waiting on my 1st deer or hog or cow or horse or dog or coyote--buffalo might present a problem
