NFI!! No idea other than mine is a cab and chassis rather than a pick up.. Maybe it is something from the factory??? Maybe Sag or Bob4x4 will chime in on how to set it??
Although my TH does reset to off every time I shut the truck off. I just wish I could the the mirror heat to stay on longer than 10 minutes in the rain.

On the Cab and Chassies it stays on until you turn it off. On the non cab and chase trucks it resets every time you shut off the truck unless you have a trailer hooked up then it will stay on until you unhook the trailer and shut off the truck. It only worked this way for the 14 plus trucks. The 13 trucks it reset/shut off every time you shut the truck off wether a trailer was hooked up or not.

That's interesting to know. When I first read this I thought mine stayed on, even when the truck was shut off... but I've only had my '15 for a short time and up until this past weekend I only turned on the exhaust brake when I had my trailer hooked up and therefore from the sounds of it this is why the exhaust brake stayed on when I restarted.

I doubt if it makes much difference?? I am still playing with Tow/Haul when not towing, especially in stop and go traffic to see if it makes any differance in MPG??

So if Ram was smart enough to realize we probably want the brake on with the trailer still hooked up after we shut it off and restart it, why aren't they smart enough to realize we probably still want to be in T/H mode as well?

A question I ask myself everytime I start my truck with the trailer hooked up.

I know there is a mod to make it automatically come on everytime the keyis turned on. But I cant remember the years

Just joined the forum. Have you looked at your "Settings" button on your touch screen? (If your model has one) This is where you can set up all your equipment to come on automatically on start up. I know you can set up climate and other systems. I haven't looked to see if TH or EB can be set to auto at start. I only test drove my new 2015 3500 Laramie and get it next week.

Welcome aboard!!!

Let us know what you figure out. Mine seems to have the EB on when I start with the RV attached. I still have to hit TH.
