Both the hitch and picture frame are heavy. I may have to lift it out with my chain host and set it down on cart and push it aside in the shop. I have a lift point in the garage. Also the V-box is going to fit behind the hitch fine. Still looking at existing front box for clearance and mods to it. Snoking

We left the dealer in Greeley, Co at noon and drove 409 miles today. We are 3 miles short of Utah. Talk about long legs this thing really strenches them out. Fuel fill is not as good as the old 2001. Other than that it is really nice. Got a lot of things figured out with the cluster and the 8.4.

Held the business managers hand to the stove and bought the 8 year 120k Max warranty for $2643.

We had a late lunch in Laramie, Wy and I was going to take a picture of "our" new Laramie, then forgot.

So how about a link to these. From what I have been able to find they are not the factory warranty and can not find anything on deductible. Chris

That site just quoted 2405 for the plan I bought. Day late and a dollar short! Where were you two weeks ago. Snoking

You sure it is zero deductible? I have not seen that option anywhere.

BTW my new hitch sort a showed up in one day from Oregon. Hijacker picture frame is missing the parts to lock in the pucks and B&W legs are not spaced correctly and will not drop into frame. Frame measures correctly, hitch does not. And it is all welded. Snoking

I need to try and find the paperwork. At the time of sale they confirmed the warranty does not change and is zero deductible. I can see it is available and at the price shown I think it's correct.

7 YEARS $0 Deductible

50,000 $1,690 $1,155 $86.67* M750N

Ok, getting the hitch put together. With the B&W RVK3270 and Hijacker 6099 picture frame it is going to be around 270 lbs. So I went to Harbor Freight today and bought a 880 lbs AC hoist, so I can put it in and out as a single piece. It was to fast in 440 single line, so I put the snatch block in. Will be able to lift the heavy front box in and out also, along with the yard waste tote to go to the dump. Now if I could just get the missing pieces for the Hijacker picture frame!!

OK, poked around at the 8.4NA nav sittings and it does not appear that you can override the blocked ability to program a destination while the vehicle is moving. What the heck good is a navigator if they can not input a new destination on the fly??????? All my Tom Tom and Garmins allow you to turn this nanny feature off. SNOKING

Finally got the remaining pieces to finish the RVK3270 manual slider on a Demco 6099 picture frame. V-Box fits behind the hitch fine. Truck Trunk box is going to fit in front of the hitch with some modification to lower rear corner to clear the wheel wells and front of the hitch. Have the replacement park view camera in the back of the V-Box working, however may have to aim it down a little more the green lines are elevated off the ground on the screen. Snoking

The Demco Hijacker latches that mate with the bed pucks are robust.

I like it that the RVK3270 will easily slide between positions by hand. Because the large Truck Trunk is coming back close to the front of the hitch head and release handle, it is going to require that it is slid aft to couple or uncouple. More pictures tomorrow. Snoking

I like your progress Snoking, but I have to say that my mind is officially made up now about short bed pickups; I don't want one.

For a while, I thought my girls would really enjoy the reclining back seat in a mega cab, but you know what. They can pound sand.

When it is ready to tow, it will be box - hitch - V-Box and not room for much of anything else. Hopefully the pin box bike rack and bikes will fit also, or I will have to put a roof carrier on the crew cab!

BUT we will have a back seat now!! So traveling to Arizona a lot of my RC Race Car and Airplanes stuff can go there.

BTW, the electric hoist is working great! Cleaned up of the lines today with eye splices in the ends with S hooks.
