Actually, as long as everyone is splitting hairs here........per my order sheet, the Aisin for 2016 is only $2595......:cool:

Sam

To help lessen the bite of the price increase for getting the Aisin, I looked at it this way;
$-600 - 68RFE
$-250 - 15hp
$-350 - 65ft/lbs
$-300 - 11.8" axle
$-1000 - extreme dependability.

If you are considering a stick then omit the cost of the 68rfe but then add more to the the hp and torque increase.
Of course the value of all those are different for everyone but it got it close enough for me to not have any second thoughts.

Well my Aisin was part of the 11k+ discount, do it was free! Snoking

I got a $9000+ discount. But there wasn't as much mark-up on my tradesman as your Laramie.

I guess all the options like the popular equipment group, chrome package, in bed liner, backup camera, 220 amp alternator, fancy metallic paint , & 2 or 3 cylinders of my cummins were part of my discount

I am glad that you are happy with your truck. We run 26-2800 pin weight heading to Arizona for the winter. Our new truck has aa 36xx payload listed on the door jam, which will allow us to move up to a larger trailer in the future. Snoking

I was hoping you'd justify your remarks, instead of just stating why you need a 3500.

I don't intend to go bigger, in fact I went bigger than I would have preferred. I do not seek out the improved, flat, pay campsites with full hookups, I like dispersed camping, and this sucker is hard enough to get into some of those places.

Well, I got the 4 pucks installed this morning. You do have to tip the bed up on one side and then the other to slip the pucks in place! AND I NOW KNOW where the gorilla that use to install oil filters was resigned. He now installs the 6 bed bolts! Got the trailer plug installed in the bed also. About 4 hours total.

Looks like you peed on the puck!

He did it all without my help :)

My 2012 has a stuttering problem trying to move a 15,000lb trailer up a 6%+ grade from a dead stop. The truck is quite nice and capable, but the stuttering is a concern that may prompt an upgrade.

Snoking, that is one fine looking truck. Enjoy Arizona. We are rainbirds, summer in Alaska and winter on the Olympic.

Snoking on that max care warranty 8yr 120k what is you decucable. What was the starting point on the price for that warranty before you argueed on $ 2643.00

Interesting. My 7 yr 100K bumper to bumper is zero deductible. I was wishing I had yours now not so sure?

You sure it is zero deductible? I have not seen that option anywhere.

BTW my new hitch sort a showed up in one day from Oregon. Hijacker picture frame is missing the parts to lock in the pucks and B&W legs are not spaced correctly and will not drop into frame. Frame measures correctly, hitch does not. And it is all welded. Snoking
