This is more of a rant, so please be tolerant.
I know I've heard others complain about this, but I just washed my '15 for the first time (myself). I typically pay someone, because I'm lazy, but finally did it myself. I have more paint chips in this several month old truck, than I did the entire 14 years I owned my 2nd gen. The sheetmetal is also noticeably thinner, bowing when you lean down with the smallest of force. I don't recall my 2nd gen ever doing that. MSRP on my truck was $73,900. I expected more. Okay, rant over. Back to your regularly scheduled Sunday evening.
