And........like last year. Order banks open and there is zero information on Rambuilder or Chrysler's web sites. Gotta love the secrecy.

Mine came in 2 weeks ago and all I can say about it is WOW!! Power is incredible and rides like a dream. Can't wait to hook it up to my camper and head out!

I received my 2016 on 08/28. Already at 800 miles with about 400 of those towing.....holy mother of greatness....truck tows like a bat out of hell compared to my 2011. Huge difference going from 650#s to 900#s of torque. Loving the truck! Empty/non-towing HWY mileage is also reading about 19 compared to 14.5 on my 2011.

Very nice!

Report back your hand calc mileage. My lie O meter is consistently .4 high. Don't get too excited at 19.

Just recently pick up my 2016 Ram 2500 TD 4x4. I wasn't aware at time of purchase, the changes to the 2016. 385HP and 900LB torque. It pulled my 28 footer Cougar with a slide out, like butter. Love the Smart Exhaust brakes going down the steep rocky mountains. They made changes to the REGEN setup, apparently this allowed FCA to tune the engine for more power and better fuel economy. They added more cooling capabilities, I think.

Just coming up to 2500 Kilometres, so to early for fuel figures, but it seems possible to get around 10 to 11 litres per 100km. That would be 25 mpg US and 30mpg Imperial. The best I got on my 2015 Ecodiesel was 9.1, not towing and the Highlander best was 9.5, not towing. Towing in the mountains, over 10,000 lbs, it showed around 18 litres per 100km. I'm only on my third fill up, and both tanks were towing time.

I have the Edge CS2, however, there isn't a pid for filter percentage as it was on the EcoDiesel. It does have the pid for pressure reading on both side of the Filter. Haven't figure out when REGEN is occurring. I got a surprise, after driving 5 KM from a cold start., my EVIC chimed and mentioned 100 % filter full. Never received a 80 percent warning, as on the EcoDiesel. Within 5 minutes or less, driving city, stop and go, low rpm, cool engine, it hit 70 percent and shortly thereafter, it said filter is clear. All the EGT temperatures were under 500 F and engine was only 1/3 warm, etc. So, it was a surprise, how quickly it cleared the filter with a cool engine.

The Ram 2500 TD, 2016 is totally different. The REGEN process is totally different from my experience with the 2015 EcoDiesel.
