I have read all the posts about this filter and the lf9028 as well. I am thinking about using this this for my ram. I just wanted to get an update from anyone that has been using this filter on a 2014 and up CTD. All the posts I've read are a few years old! Anyone stop using them because of a problem etc.

No issues with them so far... It's been a while since I last used them as I have Frantz bypass filters on both the '92 and '09. I went back to Fleetguard 16035 only because I can source them locally for about the same price after shipping is factored in.

I use the amsoil BMK 21. The Donaldson 7317 seems to be designed for a much smaller engine. But I would say just change it more often? They are cheaper anyway. I wouldn't expect it to create any oil pressure problems.

Your confusing your remote bypass with a replacement primary filter with an internal bypass feature.

Yeah, i was. I would stick with mopar or fleetguard for primary. I think8nk my external amsoil bypass is very effective. Sorry for the confusion
