I think the issue was the insulator/ bracket. It was a rub through and I think there was a campaign on it. Does The new line comes with a bracket?

I think that old clamp has a lot to do with failure.

Hi, Good info on #4. I have 114K on the 06 in sig, anyone have a handy part number of the latest version of #4. I'll pick one up and possible replace pre failure...

#6 also can crack, especially if it does not have the stabilizer bracket added in-service. BTW I have a spare 4 and 6 that I no longer need.

I carry all 6 in the tool box. They were cheap when bought a few years back, and it makes me feel good to know they are there . lol

Same here. My camping trips take me off the beaten path and I can't afford downtime (have to tow back home) so I keep a full set along with some other items in my truck.
