Hi - First time poster here. I recently came by a '93 Dodge motorhome with a 6 cyl Cummins 12V engine with around 50k miles on it. The motorhome has some major issues, and although might be savable the more likely route is that the engine will be pulled. Can anyone help to assign a value to this engine? Any help greatly appreciated....

Is the RV, a class C style with the Dodge pickup chassis or a class A with the Dodge RV chassis? If pickup style, it will have the 160 hp VE pump, if class A RV type, it will most likely have the 190 hp P pump.

Thanks for the response's - I'm new to this forum type of thing. So it has the Pick-up front end, so I am assuming it is a Class C. Also - re-checked the mileage and it only has 22,000 miles. Also, all of the drivetrain is intact. Will be putting new batteries in it this weekend to see if we can get it running. Any advise as to how to start after sitting for so long?

I would recommend draining ALL fuel, cleaning out the tank, and change all filters and oil.

We had a fellow once that broke down close to the shop. He had purchased a motor coach up north with a 5.9 Cummins pusher that had 7500 miles on it. It had been sitting @ 15 years. He was driving it home to Mobile. We ended up replacing injectors and injection pump because of the trash in the tank and the filters coming apart.

Thanks Big Papa - You just saved me a lot of hassle!
