Cummins can turn up the wick all they want. FCA still doesn't have the driveline to handle it. The torque management issues they have now would only get worse if they had a full grand on the twist meter. A 4-digit torque rating is Class 7-8 territory... The AS69RC will never handle it... nor will the B-W transfer case or AAM diffs. First and second gears would have to be locked out if low range is engaged at the t-case, otherwise the driveline would east itself.
Never say never.........

The current AS69RC is alleged to have an input torque capacity of 950 lb-ft.

Are you serious about the AAM differentials not being able to handle it? There are quite a few pulling trucks running them.....

Yep... this Modified Steerable IFS is in front of 1800+HP We put this in our New Pulling Truck.

The diff has to be able to handle 1000 lb-ft multiplied by first gear (4:1, give or take), multiplied by low range (around 2.7:1). That's over 10,000 lb-ft. No, it may not see that kind of grunt for very long, although someone in snow or off-road may use it that way more than the average owner.

I like it. However, I don't care for the emblem in the hood. Looks like it can't be removed without leaving the crater they inserted for it...

Not quite the same, sled pullers don't generate any heat. This is what happens if they bounce....

This is what the pullers use when they get in the 1500+ hp range:

Yep you can use the GM military Steerable or the F-106 Rockwell (Modded), In pulling you loose IFS with those Front Drivers...If that front starts to hop or truck bounce its $$$$, the rear is 18.5 or the 2300 Both capable of handling 3000HP, the unlimited Jump to the 23 Housing. I prefer the 11.5 IFS (Front) We had the F-106 on BananaMAX. You also have more gear choices with the 11.5. We did destroy the 11.5 gears on the rear many times and the 33 spline , the 37 and 41 are bigger and held up, the pinion bearing in the 11.5 had some failures 2003-10 AAM changed the housing and bigger bearing fix it.

Guys, if FCA wants to sell trucks to the new “millennial man” they need to put a nail polish holder in easy reach of the driver for those touch up on the go moments.

They also have to stop using colors like red, blue, black and white. They'll have to be colors that don't clearly indicate gender, like mauve, taupe, teal and fern.

With skinny jeans I wonder if you could seat 8.

They'll probably have to come without badges so people who drive Fords or have gas engines don't feel threatened.
