Don't forget to call SiriusXM and transfer your subscription from the old car to the new one.
80......give that car a little break on your first ride together. Thats like yelling fire in an old folks home........there's going to be a soggy mess somewhere if you make them run that fast.
12.9 volts @ 2000 rpm?
Seth (my son) took me down after work last night to pick up the car....asks me "Does it come with a free AARP Membership??"
What a little s**t.....
Makes me proud!!!
You have hope as long as you are not walking around in those cloth shorts with the stretchy waistband, the belt to match, polo shirt tucked in, and black socks pulled up to your knees.
Feel free to shoot me at that point.......![]()
Glad to hear it is normal. I would have thought the lowest non draining voltage would be 13.2, but have never given it much thought before.Perfectly normal. The GM BCM cuts the rate of charge back when the battery is satisfied. The other DTS and my Yukon do the same thing.
The HID headlights and LED tail, marker and dash lights draw a lot less than conventional bulb set ups so normal for the voltage to drop back even after dark.
The only thing that will make it run 14 volts other than after a start is using the rear window defogger....
I believe that the batteries last far longer that way...

Off the record, the stretchy shorts really are comfortable.![]()
Better yet- the athletic ones with the pinholes, and out in a old car with floor vents on a nice day.
