HUGE FCA corporate news.

I'm not sure but I think TDR members are dwindling. I used to look for TDR badges and stickers when traveling; haven't seen one in many years.....

Thanks for responding JHawes. I ran across a member at Glacier National Park about 8 years ago and he didn't have the time of day for me. I was a little disappointed to say the least. Being up here in North Dakota I was wondering if I am the only member up here.

Hopefully I will be back up there next summer Dave. I am kind of land locked with this medical this year. Do they still have TDR Badges ?. Mine has been on the grill since 2000ish. When they use to show member location under the user name yours was the only one showing North Dakota thru the years.

Dave

I have been traveling the US pulling our trailer ever since I joined TDR 10 years ago. I have never seen another member driving on the road or in a campground except at the TDR rally in Columbus IN a couple of years ago. I always have my membership decal on my driver side of the truck on the rear window.

Dave, if you're in my 'hood, please let me know as I'd love to meet you! Even if you're passing through, let me know. Also, I do hope and pray you are doing well these days....!

Still alive Dave, no noticeable toe tag. Definately will look you up as it shouldn't be as hectic as the Grandson was born Nov. 2nd, the covering of the underbelly for the Winter ( I was one busy guy ). We left there Dec. 1st and I had already seen -5 and knew that would feel like spring :D. Luckily all the work insulating the 5ver worked as nothing froze, including the people inside.

Well, being around here a while, I've seen chapters and meet ups and such not work out so well. The rallys out west, I see in the magazine are much more successful. I'd love to do the Cummins plant someday and I know '19 registration is open now.
When you order up at Genos, they ask your zip code, so I asked back how many accounts in my NYC zip code? The answer was 3. I was impressed. I've not run into another member that wasn't already a friend- ever. I run a sticker on my cap all the time. I'm on NY NJ PA hiways all the time, and a few trips down to Dollywood- never once recognized.

Wow, a Direct Connection Decal. How long has that been there. I still have a Direct Connection license plate floating around here along with a plate frame.

I haven't seen a TDR logo on a truck in a while. I see lots of Dodge diesels everywhere I go though. Some weeks back I was over in Fort Worth and saw an absolutely pristine 1st Gen dually parked right of Main Street in the stockyards districk. It was two tone brown, had a nice stainless toolbox and a bunch of other goodies, looked brand new. :D

Unfortunately I think most potential members wind up on some facebook group. I have yet to open an account on any social media app. I'll stick to TDR

I've seen 3 TDR decals since I joined and have met one member face to face in an RV park.

I still sport a grill badge and decal on back

Says we have 58,000 plus.
Have decals on back bumper of Mule.
Some decals on Moose on side of hood near cab. Got them from TDR but don't if any are TDR stickers. One is the Super B decal. But if we travel we use my Mom's car. Mule has not been out of state for years. Moose has never been out of state.
Member was not being friendly probably other half was being a pain!

i have a TDR grill badge from genos they said they had a few left over from christmas, going on the center of the ranch hand brush guard,
had to make a thick rubber washer for it and got a lock nut for it to so it didnt fall off

I get a feeling there are a lot of folks like me who don’t put anything on their truck. The first thing I do with any new vehicle is remove the dealer emblem.

I’m not big on dealer stickers, unless the dealer is famous (think Baldwin/Motion Chevy) but I do express myself on glass surfaces

Im the same way about my truck and my cars. Always have been. You spend a lot of money on a car or truck then cheapen it up with stickers ? Not me.

Have sported this for almost 3 three years now. No one have ever commented on it. I use to put the sticker on the rear of of my 5th. No one ever commented on that either.
