So glad to see this Kneeling resolution

I had a higher than normal psa number a few years ago. When I went for the biopsy they put me in a dark room with soft music. The only things missing were flowers and bottle of champagne. That scared me worse than the procedure. It all worked out well. The doctor was a nice young fellow with small hands. A prayer for your satisfactory outcome has been sent.

HA HA!!!!!!!!!!!!!. When the Doc did mine he said " Lay back and enjoy the ride ". Some maybe, me,not so much. Thanks for the prayers.

Update: Had the latest PSA (one every Month) where the level is now 2.21. It went from 10ish to 5 ish last Month so I was hoping to reach the magical .5 or less but no such luck. The hot flashes and freezing cold flashes at night mostly are definately getting old.

Hang in there Dave. Have you looked at any alternative methods, diets, etc?

Been eating more leafy greens hoping it doesn't have salmonella. Trying to intake more of anything that supposedly helps to fight cancer, I would just like to get this thing going. We have 9 Months to do something as there is no way I want to spend another Summer in Phoenix living in a RV or anything else for that matter. Highest we have seen so far was 117 and overnight lows in the low 90's. Glad I do not have to work in it anymore. Hard to believe I did for 40ish years. I really need to get out of here and visit Dave Hess in North Dakota along with the Daughter, Son in Law and Grandson in Minot.

That is quite a Drop in the PSA though. I know it isn't what you wanted, but it is definitely going in the right direction.

Yeah I just need to reload some patience but this just seems to be going on forever. I will eventually get there, just hope it's sooner than later.Next test is somewhere around 8/23-8/25. I can only hope I am at the magic number.

There are things that can help with the "effects" caused by prostate removal. I would opt to get it out if there as fast as possible and just handle the side effects. The other ways are slow and with a greater chance of other, life threatening problems.

Initially removal was the plan. The cancer has spread outside of the prostate so that option left the picture unfortunately.

Well CRAP. Another setback. After doing the prep (Fleets fun), the CT scanner breaks down when it's my time. Doctor advises me he is going on a 2 week vacation and wants to be there when they are making me glow in the dark. So everything is on hold until October 25th.

Hang in there Dave. Minor technological setback. Prayers are still on the front burner for you!
FYI: I'd take a "Fleet fun" moment over the "Go-Lytely glugger" any day of the week...;)o_O

Not yet Dave, PSA at .21 so it is low enough. Next try is October 25th. I have zero energy and ambition and no testosterone. Took me 3 hrs this morning to work up enough energy to pull a 5 year old Maxxis tire that decided to seperate while we are parked on the RV. I love Discount Tire they did their warranty and it cost me $25.00 for a Goodyear Endurance.
