No speedometer and abs

GAmes and DavidC, thanks. I never thought to check the 4 wheel. Will do so and see if all works. Also never tried the cruise control. I will check the PCM for any corrosion. Guys all this helps. Will keep trying.I'm also still trying to find the wires that go from Power Train Controler (WT/OR) to the Anti Lock Module.

If the speedo doesn't work I doubt the cruise control will. The PCM uses the speed sensor to control the CC module.

As you know and has been mentioned to check all wiring connections to narrow it down to ABS or PCM. A tedious job for sure. I am not sure how to differentiate if it comes down to it which of the 2 is the problem.

Well I'm as far as I can go. No more talent. Checked again to see codes and companion code shows along with the P0500 no signal from sensor. Called module masters and talked to tech. They say that if I don't have a code for abs then the problem is in pcm or tone ring not abs module. I will have to wait until after trip to take it in to shop. Will have to drive with ats commander and pacbreak off. GAmes work around might be another option if pcm and tone ring aren't issue. Will do updates once I get back into this after trip.

One more piece of info. The steelers can't even order another abs module as they don't make them anymore. Parts don't show at Autozone, O Riles, or NAPA.

Be sure to check that splice location if you can. Dodge is not known for bullet proof splices.

Yeah, don't think your gonna find anything especially electronic. The companies will gladly throw all this non user friendly crap in then abandon the end user. Guess it is a good thing to not own the newer ones that have a lot more user friendly equipment.

Looked for splice related to abs and saw none. Should I check the 161 for engine to pcm

Shows splice 174 (bottom of chart) and on the diagram for diesel. It is between the ABS and PCM.

I know nothing about the ATS Commander but Could it be messing with the system since I would imagine it has something to do with speed.

I looked up the commander and it does indeed monitor mph. I would check that wire and maybe disable that unit to see if it is the culprit. Wouldn't be the first time an add on caused problems just ask an Edge tuner owner (like me).

Keep thinking. That was the first thing I disabled along with pacbreak. I thought the same thing so have left it disabled until speedometer issue is solved. Also commander won't work unless the speedo reaches mph set is reached.

Well I am out of ideas. If the sensor and tone wheel are good, Harness from sensor to ABS checks good, Harness from ABS to PCM checks ok and commander is disconnected that is basically all there is besides ABS and PCM.
