I elongated the bearing bolt holes in DSS to fit the Borgenson box. They are slotted anyways. Probably won't work with the big PSE box. The PSE box probably doesn't need it anyways. I do like the box-to-frame support aspect. I have seen boxes rip the bolts through the frame.

Can I do the 3rd gen upgrade on my 1995 2500? I'd like to keep my stock steering box as I have the DSS installed.........I WILL be installing a 3rd gen track bar that is adjustable.

Watch for real rubber bushings on both ends of the trackbar, everything else will wore out fast especially on bad road.
Only rubber will withstand the beating.

I've done the 3rd Gen 08.5 update on a few trucks. I might have been one of the first as I had a hell of a time getting Chrysler to cover the kits when the recall came out on them way back in 2009-2010. The kits have held up very well. One truck had well over 150k miles on the kit when I sold it. 150k very hard trailer towing and maneuvering (backing up with the trailers) miles. I'd install the Chrysler kit again. I don't know if it can fit a 2nd gen truck but I don't see why not.....

I also installed a couple of the updates on 3rd gens and was impressed with the durability and better yet, drive quality. Even my wife’s 08 1500 mega cab with the hemi greatly improved after the upgrade.....it solved the death wobble.

I have gone through many steering components in the 21 years I have owned my truck. I finally bit the bullet and bought the Synergy steering with the Fox steering stabilizer, and it us awesome. Practically zero axle flop due to the way the links are made. Expensive, but worth every penny if you plan to keep your truck.

I'm just curious. How long (miles) have you had the Synergy steering upgrade and how has it held up? Still as good as the first day? Axle flop bearable?

Also did you use on of these alignment specs:

or something completely different?
