Auto up/down Window

I have the auto up/down windows in my 2015 RAM. Recently I did the auto up on the drivers door and the window went all the way up and then went all the way down. After that the auto up would not work (auto down and manual up still worked). Didn't realize how often I used this feature until it didn't work.
After about 3 days it started working again. Any ideas on what is going on? Computer glitch, bad switch??

They will do that if they detect too much amp draw, such as an arm/finger being stuck in the window.

You might have a dirty window track or door that is increasing the resistance.

Mine did that yesterday after I kept overshooting where I wanted the window. I believe the reset procedure is hold the switch down until window is all the way down, hold a few (five) more seconds, then push the switch up until window is all the way up, hold a few more seconds. Yesterday I did only the second half of that procedure and it reset mine.

I believe it's part of the switch, at least that's how it is on my other rigs with the fea
