Who has Alfa OBD for their 4th gen?

What all have you enabled?

Any issues?

Looking to enable:

fog's with high beams.
Trailer names in the 8.4.
Compass on the 8.4
DRL's, with disable option on 8.4

Done all those but the compass. Biggest thing is to take your time especially with things that talk to the 8.4. I cratered by TCU by setting things to quickly and causing the BCU to loose it's mind.

Good rule of thumb is do one change and don't do anything else until it takes if it goes across multiple modules. turn on/off Fog drop out and setting DRL mode and setting DRL position can be done at the same time, but once you go to enable the option for it to display in the 8.4 don't do anything else for a while until it appears on the 8.4. I can take a day or two for it to appear in the settings.

I have AlphaOBD and used to turn on grid lines on my C&C b/u camera, but those sly rascals at FCA actually eliminated either the conductor or the pin from the grid line circuit to prevent its activation. When I'm recovered from surgery I'm going install that circuit.

I did activate DRL on my 2014 Jeep.

They do have they years supported on the website.

cheers, Ron

I would like to have those items installed/enabled, anyone in the Midwest/ Iowa /Illinois area that could help me out?

Alfa OBD isn't expensive, and if you're an Android user it's very easy.

I use Apple, so I'll be making the changes with my PC.

I turned all this on except the compass. I also turned the single zone AC on as I had manual AC. On my new ‘19 I only used it to change my tire size since I just put a set of Toyo C/T 295/65X20 on it.

This is the first I've heard of this, sounds awesome.
If I am understanding this correctly, if I buy the app, I can use the OBDII BT adapter I already own (I use it with Torque Pro) and I should be good to go on my 2015?

That’s my understanding. I haven’t used it yet. Maybe this weekend.

This is awesome.

My wife's Durango has the start/stop feature. Dealer says it can't be disabled but I wonder if this could??

Possibly yes because a lot of that addons depend on the country code that the vehicle is basically set. I played around with the Autoenginuity on my cars and could alter quiet a lot of stuff.
