Yes, on the Longhorn and Limited they turn into the corner like a '48 Tucker![]()
Nice, I'd love to have that at Home, our roads are made out of corners instead of long stretches.

Don't like what I am saying go to the next page. Guess stating FACTS hurt some feelings.
I stated what i did for those interested in ordering a new truck so they don't get SCREWED!!! I guess I shouldn't try to help others.
All this comes under the heading of “ I’m not happy until you’re not happy” .

If you say so.
personally would rather have my eyes opened than keeping on getting a deal that is not nearly as good as it could be.
I’m betting the OP will use this info on a future deal. I’m also betting several others will do the same.
Sorry to upset you.
The sound makes the music, and yours is often not so, well, nice.
Even if your points are really good and valid, people feel offended from it.
For your records; your points are often good, but bad presentation.
Try to work on this and we all can be happy again.
Do yourself (and your hitch and hitch pin) a favor and get a new 2.5" ball mount. Using those adapters can bend hitch pins and elongate the hitch pin holes in the receiver hitch.
And someday, inevitably, you'll forget about the adapter and leave it in when you pull the ball mount out. At best, you'll lose it, at worst, create a hazard to another driver.![]()

You are saying , don't use the adapter, get a 2.5 ball mount ,and eliminate the adapter ??. Although I don't tow anything too heavy , mine has a few miles on that adapter.
Yes. Others have noticed the same issue. Mine had the issues I mentioned just pulling a 5000 lbs (wet) travel trailer.
Try to visualize what is going on inside the receiver with the adapter. No longer is the pin been utilized in a direct shear, it now has about 1/4" gap (so to speak) on each side between where the ball mount is, and where the receiver hitch is. This can make the pin bend.
Congrats,Ordered on July 9th:
2019 3500 SRW MegaCab Laramie LO 6.7 4x4. I went with pretty much every option available except for the rear air suspension. I did go with the RamBox delete as well as sunroof delete.
It landed at the dealership on September 20th BUT it was caught up in a recall where 5400 trucks manufactured from July 6th to Aug 24th were assembled with front brake calipers that were assembled by the supplier with the incorrect assembly lube.... Which could cause the piston seals to swell and allow the pads to drag. The fix is to replace both front calipers and brake lines. Well, They finally approved the recall fix and started issuing parts. The dealership said FCA is currently allowing service departments 1 set per week but my truck will be the first to get the fix..... Parts arrived Wednesday, Installed on Thursday and today the truck is on a carrier headed for my home.
The truck as built was $77,345 and I was able to negotiate a normally non negotiable price down to $73k and I got them to match the MaxCare 8/125 warranty price I found online.... $2850!! The dealership where I bought my 2018 2500 SRW MegaCab from scoffed at selling me that same warranty for that price, They said No. Well.... That's why I purchased this 2019 from a different dealership. When you've been going to the same dealership for 12 years you'd think they'd hook you up... The parts department always has.
So the truck should be here in a few hours... I'll post up some pictures. In the meantime here are a few pics the dealership sent after it came off the train.
