Ok, I finaly have a little time to myself after the trip. My impressions of the alternate hight option worked well to give me a 1/2" more clearance. It was weird when lowering the weight onto the truck, then the level system kicked in raising it. I ended up with 6+" under the 5ver, and the puck system was awesome. It was a solid connection without any movement. I did start to get a slight feel of a little back and forth motion, even the wife picked up on it. I figured the motion was attributed to the water weight moving from the fresh water tank to the grey and black tanks forward of the axles. It turned out to be from getting to a 1/4 tank of fuel (I realy miss the 54 Gallon tank on my old C&C), once I filled the tank it was as smooth as on the way down to Glamis. AND the power, WOW. I never got the the electric brake setting to change, I'll look into that on the next tow. I followed the instructions in the manual, holding the right arrow in, while pushing the up or down arrows changing the settings. I had no issue with the brakes, because I drive cautiously when near other vehicles or in city driving. I couldn't caculate the MPG because I had 50+ miles without the 5ver. But the lie "O" meter indicated 9-10 MPG. Well gotta feed the dogs, more later on this.
