I’ve got an Adventure 86FB on a long bed. Don’t worry the center of gravity is well ahead of the rear axel. Don’t use the 2x4. Load camper till bump stops on front of camper just touch front of bed

I had truck campers in the 70's, so we always had a 4X4 at the front of the bed to keep camper from rubbing on the box along the front edge.

Unfortunately, the previous owner needed too because the clean out will hit the bumper on the rear of trailer. I’ll find out tomorrow.
