I have an issue with my passenger side head light. When low beams are on the pampas doesn't work but it does when on high. I thought it was a bulb issue, but after replacing the bulb I have the same issue, just to make sure I placed a third build in the socket and the same thing happens.

So what now? Sounds like the connector but is this a plug and play harness or do I need to solder the wires with a new harness? Or is there something further I need to do?

His profile shows he has a "2004 Bright White Long Bed Quad Cab".

Dictionary.com say "Pampas" is "the vast grassy plains of southern South America, especially in Argentina."

SW, I would swap your headlamps and make sure it's not just the lamp. Next, I'd, check your lamp connectors. After that, I'd hate to say, it's probably an internal issue with the TIPM.

It’s and FCM or ICM issue from a corroded circuit board. Run a jumper wire from the good side to the light that doesn’t work. They’ll both run fine on the same circuit.

Left or right; both will work on one circuit from the FCM(Front Control Module). The Headlights lights are setup as two separate grounded circuits in FCM. Run a hot jumper wire it’ll work:). Dodge mechanics would do the same thing after electrical issues became common in aging 3rd Gens.

Here's an update:

I replaced the socket after getting a reading from a volt meter and no dice. So it looks like it may be the FCM or ICM. not real happy about that!

So can I run a jumper from the drivers headlight to the passenger or do I need to run it from somewhere else. And what gauge wire should I use on the jumper?

I really appreciate the help!

Stop here - you only have Power on the line if a bulb is installed - no bulb = no power. The FCM checks for a bulb before switching on the line.

If you can check the wire from the FCM to the bulbs socket for continuity and resistance. The FCM is picky on this and shuts it down if anything is out of spec.

But sure it can be the FCM itself, problems have been reported for light outs.

Ok put everything back together and still the same. Haven't traced from the FCM back was running out of time. will look at doing that next. I don't guess I need to reset anything?

Check and clean each pin in the FCM and receptacle plug using brake clean and a small brass brush. Then twist the pins ever so slightly so as to ensure contact with the harness plug.
