Anyone who says taking this motor out is full out shiat. There are so many little connections to disconnect on the driver's side. Talk about a pita.
Should I take the fuel filter off and the trans cooler off? It's such a pain to get up in there
Just disconnect the SAE Connections, they are there for a reason. No need to tear all an everything apart.
At the factory they need just a couple minutes to drop in the power plant and install it.
The transmission goes in together with the Engine there.
So you must disconnect the two cooler lines at the heat exchanger. And be careful, always use two wrench. Don't try just to loosen the lines nut, you'd destroy the heat exchanger.
