Massive amount of fuel in oil, how to find the culprit?

Thrust bearing failure

Hopefully someone has an answer,
Ok driving on city street doing around 40 all of a sudden i hear this loud bang sound (like if someone hit the side of the truck) There was not another vehicle around me. Pulled over look around and underneath did not see anything unusual. So I started driving and nothing unusual drove like normal, No vibration, Nothing. First thought was drive line falling off or transmission came apart.. Nothing. Up to today it has been driving like nothing happen. Any ideas?
Thanks

Check if your Ebrake is intact, friend of mine ad similar happen o him.
Loud bang and the ebrake te itself, afterwards silence.

had something like that years ago on my 01 dually . ended up being my passenger rear shackle busted and broke. leaving the main leaf slamming the bed. (loud BANG)

My big bang came when my spare tire decided to jump ship at about 45 mph. Pulled over, gave a quick walk around and look underneath for drive line issues. Had no idea what it was. Drove it another 40 or so miles home with a tight grip on the wheel. Once there I pulled out the creeper for a closer inspection and that's when I saw the remains of the frayed cable that once held the spare.

Well crawled around checked items mentioned. Didn't see any signs of anything broken, Loose or missing. I might just take it my local shop have them put it on the lift see if they find anything.

Are you sure you didn’t run something over that bounced into the truck?

That's what I thought of at first, When I pulled over to look, No damage underneath or to body. This is just really weird. I'll just keep driving it around, See what happens.

By any chance do you have a locking rear axle? I have a lock-rite in my rear end, and sometimes it lets loose an almighty, earth shaking bang!
