The #6 Crash bracket comes out fairly easy if one knows the knack.
I posted a pic some time ago how to loosen that 2 screws at the back of the engine.

Does one know which thread that was?
Is Ozy referring to the lifting bracket when he mentions "crash bracket " ? There's another metal bracket at the back of the head aswell, will removing both help in removing the feed tube as well as the #5 and #6 feed line ?
Thanks, I'm prepping and taking notes to accomplish this same thing in the coming months.

Yes! Thank you That one. I figured it was put there by Cummins to protect the back of the motor from getting banged up during installation? Do I need to remove both brackets for ease of injector R&R or just swing that "crash bracket " down out of the way?

Nope, it's there to safe your life in case of a bad accident.
