Probably some left over oil in the pan as said above next time they get three gallon jugs with a quart misiing. That should solve the problem. Ha ha

I’m coming up on 3,000. Plan on good oil and filter then all fluids synthetic at 15k.I change engine oil and diff fluids at 3000 mi on new vehicles. Glad to hear it’s melting…we’re going to start making our way back next week.
The dealer put a 3k sticker for service on my new truck. I wonder if that’s standard?Your new truck should have been shipped with 5w-40 full synthetic in the crankcase and a Fleetguard filter. Why would you want to change it at 3k?

I’m hauling 3000 plus pounds maybe 3500 pounds. I think it’s worth it in the long run
