My tool box is loaded up no gravel bags yet but soon. Maybe 250 lbs in tool box tires aired down to 50 f 40 r. Remember this is a regular cab long box tradesman. Ride is firm and ok on smooth roads . The good firm seats help a bunch. But on rough broken roads it’s a bit harsh. 300 lbs of gravel bags will give me some help. Like hauling a 4 wheeler and also help with traction in the snow and ice to come. This is a 1 ton truck and rides like it. I would not want to make it any worse. Thanks for all the help

Hmmm… not words I’d ever use to describe my auto-level 3500. It in no way rides like a 1 ton truck, but it sure handles weight like one.

Rides much better than a spring 2500 or 3500, and also better than a 1500 as those just feel squishy which isn’t better IMHO.

so the auto level system on a 2022 3500 handles a truck camper nicely?
On my 2016 it sure does! I had a 2500 and installed airbags, bars, all sorts of things to smooth it out, and yet all that money didn't produce the results I enjoy with this truck. This beast handles the camper w/o breaking a sweat! Additionally, with the camper on, this truck rides so, so smooth too!

Well the camper has been off now for sometime so no opportunity to test the alt mode theory. Not till next spring early summer. Most here think it will. I have not put rear stabilizer bars on the new truck. It’s a wait and see then sorry. Barrow just seen it’s last sun yesterday for two months . January 23 rd 2023 total dark 24 /7
