I have had two sets of ball joints installed. Shop says no more the compression fit will not allow another set of ball joints. Where can a I get a new front axle? Pretty sure it is a dana 60. I have a 4.10 rear differential. Thanks

Get knurled ball joints, they will do the job - but please install some that last longer.
For a belt-and-suspenders installation, I suggest a big-time clean-up of the ball joint sockets, finishing with brake parts cleaner. The results need to be clean enough to eat off of. Similarly clean off the mating surface of the knurled ball joints. Then goop up the press-in area with Loctite Green Sleeve Retainer. I have used that stuff on all sorts of applications and it has never failed me yet.

In some ways, I wish I still had an AMC with their corporate rear axle so I could try that Loctite Green on reusing their goofy torque-to-form axle hubs when I replace rear wheel bearings. But alas, no.
