need a radio, CD, Navigation combination for my 2005 Ram

Front head lights,

I have had new LED clearance lights for several month and just got around today to do a quick R&R. I took one off and noticed the wiring is 1white and 1black wire that goes to a bulb socket. My new lights since LED just have a 1 red wire and 1 black wire with a connection on the end. How do I make the change?? Thank you

If it was me I would connect one. If it lights then there's your answer. If it doesn't, switch the wires. LEDs are diodes. They only work in one polarity. If you hook one up wrong it simply blocks current flow. Won't hurt it. Some LEDs have a built in circuit that allows you to hook up either way.

So in other words, cut the ends off both and splice them together ?? to see if it works?? Of course, I would keep black with black and then white with red thank you

In standard 12v wiring, white is considered the hot (positive) wire. Then you have most items made for 12v applications, have a red (positive) and black wire. It's almost as bad as trailer wiring! Do the lights that you're putting on have connectors that match the connector on the truck? if so, and the red mates with the white, I'd plug in and see if the light up.

Thats the problem, on my truck there is a black and white wire into a connector with 194/3G bulb, I would think there has to be some kind of pig tail to convert from factory
regular non LED to a new LED light. On the new LED clearance lights its a red and black wire into a connector but I don't know the name of it and I don't know how to take a pic and post it. I think you guys get the gist, you are a lot smarter than I. thank you

So there is no connector, just straight to a bulb socket. That kinda sucks! Do you own a volt meter, digital or analog? On the LED lamps, the red would be positive voltage and black would be ground or negative voltage. Worst case, just snip the bulb socket of and the connector on the new lamps and wire the directly with crimp connectors and heat shrink. Hope this will get you going.

with LED they are polarity sensitive. in other words they wont function if you connect them reverse polarity but they wont hurt anything either, they just wont work. simple enough to just connect the new LED lite to a battery and figure out which wire color is which, then just wire them in that way...
just figure out which wire is positive on both the lite and the harness and proceed from that direction.

as far as wiring them up, if no connectors are in the harness, its going to be a cut and butt splice job.. you could also find some nice heat shrink style butt connectors in the correct size, should last many years.
