    Front caliper bolt size please

18mm and they are torqued to I believe 147ft pounds. don't quote me on that though. however if your just changing pads , the caliper slide pin bolt are much smaller , 13 or 14 mm , i don't recall. not near as tight , don't forget the anti-seize when you go back together.

Class 8 Glider Kits (ever seen one?)

Nice shop Mike ! Right now I would settle for a front cover that wasn't cracked ! my 7cz C16 cover cracked just outside the fuel pump and is dumping about a gallon every 5000 miles. anyway , Have a Happy Thanksgiving !!!

    Ford 445 loader tractor issues

Mix atf and acetone about 50-50 and let sit in the cylinders for a day or so . the atf will be carried in by the wicking affect of the acetone. works the best out of anything Ive tried.

Nitto Dura Grappler's good as Michelin?

I am running Nitto terra grapplers in 285/70r/17 with 30,000 miles on them. I had to replace 1 last monday because of a piece of steel into the sidewall, I didn't measue the difference with a gauge but by judging with my fingers only about a 1/8 " of wear. In other words I am Very happy with...

    Spyntech lockout hubs

I have the Spyntec on a srw 3500 , bought the kit from Solid axle industries for $1550, excellent craftsmanship have seen about 1 mpg improvment and yes 2 wheel low is VERY handy. They do stick out a little farther than the other kits but for me the cost and quality were more important factors.

    Rusty oil pan?

just my 2 cents , but I figure $500 is cheaper than $6000 for a new engine. lucky you found it instead of it dumping all the oil at highway speeds ! I'm a big fan of powdercoating parts . anyway ,good luck to you.
