Towing: Same setup on 04. 5 2500 with 3. 73 gears. 75mph with 38ft tripple axle 5th wheel double slide (heavy trailer) flat towing in TX with a little wind. Not scarry Works great with a little car hauler and about 6K lbs also... I do recomend the air bags in the back as it will...

I like heat from torch in combination with a come-a-long or strap. When I did mine I was able to heat the connections up with a torch while strapped up to a tree behind the truck. The heat with constant pull worked great. This combo was the only way mine was coming off... :D

My 04. 5 lasted 1 week after I rolled off the lot, on both doors! Buddy's about 2 weeks. Really bad QC on this design, it may be the way they are aligning the doors/body on good/bad days in Mexico...
