    Engine/Transmission (1994 - 1998) Timing Problem and question

Same thing I just did the same thing recently. I have 150,000 on the truck. . and I noticed it was haveing a harder time starting, and mileage was down. I thought maybe the injectors were getting plugged, so I put in the 370's. I took it to my guy at cummings after installing the injectors so...

    Engine/Transmission (1994 - 1998) Want 275 injectors.

Jeff. . once your clutch starts to slipp. . it is all over. It is time to change it. Yes you can limp along for a while, but it will only get worse. No matter how much power you take out. I just put the 370's in my truck. . It ran good before, but now Holly SMOKE! I took it up to my friend...

    Engine/Transmission (1994 - 1998) HX35-40 Turbo Non wastegated

Would this hybrid turbo be a good one for my mods? It is a 16cm non wastegate exhaust housing. Would a non wastegated housing be bad for everyday use? Cal

    Engine/Transmission (1994 - 1998) What plate with 375 injectors

Ok, I got the injectors put in today. Man does it have a mean pull! Along with a pretty good cloud of black smoke. The stock plate is full forward. Should I move it back? And what should I have the timming at? In overdrive locked up at 55mph, stomp the go pedal, and a huge cloud of black come...

    Engine/Transmission (1994 - 1998) What plate with 375 injectors

I plan on doing the 3GSK after Christmas. Then this spring probably buy a Piers HX-40 turbo. I live up here in Michigan, and have to be able to run to the U. P. eh? So for now the #10 witht the 370's and stock turbo should be ok? Anything else I should do or check when I put the 370's in...

    Engine/Transmission (1994 - 1998) What plate with 375 injectors

I just ordered my 375hp injectors, and was wondering what plate you guys would recommend with the mods I have now. Yes gauges are on their way too. During the summer I pull a 7500lb CAT plus trailer. Right now the stock plate is slid forward, and the cummins guy messed with a few other things in...

    Engine/Transmission (1994 - 1998) What Mod Next?

Gauges Yes, I will get some gauges soon... probably just a pyro and boost gauge, but so far I have not done anything that would raise the EGTS just lower them. We checked it at the cummins dealer though. . and he said everything was safe.

    Engine/Transmission (1994 - 1998) What Mod Next?

I have a 96 Dodge Cummins 2500 Reg Cab longbox 4x4 Automatic with 148,000 miles. At 110,000 I took it to our local Cummins guru at the cummins dealer. At that time he ran the rack, fiddled with the pump and springs, set the waste gate. Reset the timming and all the other little things. Mods so...
