Had the same problem with my truck replaced the APPS and it solved the problem.

I had the 1693 code in my 2001, turned out to be the TPS going bad.

mine had the same problem last week, dealer replaced the TPS sensor, and it has been fine ever since.

Last time the truck was in to the Stealer, They said it was a overboost code in the ECM..... that is why I changed the map sensor and the banks otto mind... ..... :confused:

I am running the power pak also. easy install the stuff bolts right on but I wish that I had joined the TDR before I bought the power pak as there are better and cheaper ways to get more power outta the truck

Just the 1693 code and the light on the dash. I had the truck back to the stealer and he had said that it was a boost code in the companion controller

so my 01 truck is continueisly throwing the P1693 code. When the code sets, when i am driving it will make the engine return to idle unless you hit the clutch or the brake. any suggestions?? I am pretty sure there is something wrong as the same code keeps popping up like bi weekly
