This thread is almost an year old. I am wondering if anyone has any more experiences to share about this product. I have seen some Powerstroke websites and another cummins website where people are claiming ridiculous increase in mpg. Is this true?

I had the same issue. . My economy went down 1-1. 5mpg as well. the truck was really fun to drive for two days and then it got back to the same old crap. .

Band-aid. They did the same thing to mine. They reflashed it and the truck ran like it was running with a programmer. But the joy didn't last for long. Within two days, the truck was running like crap and the light came back on.

I know quite a few guys are doing the DPF and EGR delete and getting significant mpg (4-6mpg) increase with an MP-8 programmer added.

Did you remove the DPF/NOx stuff and got a straight pipe? If so the rattle is normal especially if you are using a programmer.

I believe you have to do the EGR delete after the DPF delete for it not to smoke. I have heard of people having a lot of smoke by just doing the DPF delete. Try the EGR delete as well and see if you find any difference.
