Ok, I was going up a 7% grade following my cousin towing the same weight with his 460. We get about 1 1/2 miles up the grade and my truck starts sounding like I have just installed mud tires or the fan clutch is kicking in. Since I had not towed with this truck before I'm concerned what it was...
I heard a noise the other day and found my lower front shock bolt and nut ***'y gone and now I need to replace it. Any one have something that tells us the size w/o removing the other side. Any help would be really be nice as I'm towing a 13k trailer tomorrow for the first time. .

Well, if it's at or under 11,500 btu...
you should be fine unless, it's an older unit.
Most likely you are at 13,500btu... This gets dicey...
With a soft start kit on it you could most likely survive.
