OK, so I was digging through the shop and I found a couple sets of injectors in a bag. Brand new... with no paperwork. My problem is that I can't cross reference the part numbers on them anywhere. Does anybody happen to know if/how I can find out what they go to?
I know they are dodge (99...
The latest replacement, along with a ground wire has taken care of the problem so far. I still have the spare behind the seat just in case.
Thanks to everybody for all your help. It is very much appreciated.
Maybe I should just mount the spare on the fire wall right next to the other one. Atleast than it would know it is not alone. And it would make it pretty easy to switch over when one burns out as well.
The new one I picked up was from Napa, that is where we get most of our parts for the...
I replaced the voltage regulator that failed the other day with another used one and it is back up and going. This morning I picked up a new one to keep on hand. I am not sure where you got one for 12 bucks as mine cost more than twice that!!
I was thinking of running a seperate ground wire...

there is a procedure in the FSM for splicing the frame.
you cut the heads off the rivets at the joint behind the cab and drive out the rivets. when joining the new section of frame, the FSM recommends lining everything up and then match drilling thru both frame sections with a 9/16" bit...

i've heard good things about them from the offroad community, but have not yet used them myself. the next time i need a box rebuilt, i'll be sending it to them.
Kendall brand anti-slip additive from Napa.
BEWARE: this stuff STINKS!! do not get it on your clothes or let the bottle sit inside of anything. usually, the guys at NAPA will wrap it in 3 or 4 bags to help seal the stink inside.
it could also be the neutral safety switch in the transmission.
the next time it does it, put the trans in Neutral and see if it starts. if it does, then either the switch is bad or the linkage needs adjustment.

has anyone used this stuff before? is it OK for the Cummins? i recently picked some up at Tractor Supply Co. for around $9 a gallon. upon opening the jug, i noticed the stuff was "purpley-pink" in color! then, i noticed that it had a...
