    the information I have came from a cummins rep. it says component name: block component part #:3935934. I do not know if this is the number on the block or not. the bulletin does state 1997 to present,so it does include 12v blocks. this was a problem in FL70 trucks also. Chrysler replaced mine...

    o1HO trucks are only 245 hp not 305. non HO trucks were 235hp. Talk to southbend directly they will set you in the right direction!! Chris

    you should get it scanned,1693 =dtc detected in a companion module. it should have other codes that will not show up on your trip odometer display. what you are describing sounds like the apps sensor going bad. Chris

    1693 means a code has been set in a companion module. meaning your chrysler computer see;s a code in the cummins engine computer.
