Try to find out the source of the problem, or it may just go again in 15,000 miles. I feel for you. By the way, my 48 RE has 13,000 on it, and about half of that towing 10,000lbs. Rock solid so far. Now if only the power steering wasn't leaking.

Too bad everyone can't afford to sue a dealer every time they did it. It's cheaper for them to fix it.

How about a wireless remote with a little readout? Now I could go for that. I want a free one if TST does it however. I said it first!! :)

Great ideas. I've been thinking of doing something like this myself to keep the heat out. Between the large dark colored dash and the engine/exhaust heat, the AC runs virtually all the time here in CA.

TST lists their box for the 03 Dodge as out of stock. Has anyone contacted them and gotten an estimated date when they will be available? I emailed but no response. I guess the one I just ordered is now backordered. Thanks

I do believe that the top of a piston is designed to run very hot, and also remember that once the exhaust is expelled, pressure and temps drop significantly on the piston, giving it time to cool. As a matter of interest, back in my Navy pilot days, there were power settings we were allowed...

Mine does it too. A mechanic type told me they all did. Mine has done it since new, but it was pretty unnoticable until I installed a 4" exhaust. Therefore I think it's related to the turbo... If it makes you feel any better, I think mine would have gone by now if it was going to. About 13000...
