i'm looking at aluminum wheels so far although i havent ruled out black steel wheels yet. But like you cant find any that will stand any more than 2550 lbs ? the aluminums will hold 3500???

thanks those are some of the answers i'm looking for. Ive got a line on getting some railroad takeoffs and all i have to do is buy the wheels. Just like to have some reassurance from someone with them

my 03' was making the rattle and eventually started to do it at idle. Finally tore it apart and my buddy owns a trans shop said he has seen the problem in other nv4500s . Anyway fifth gear bearing wears the bearing and gear out he says its an oiling problem and after a new gear ,bearing kit ...

mine sounds like a coal truck and is very loud in the cab and out no nothing straigt through!!!

hey im glad you guys posted this i've got about 8k miles on a south bend fe and the pedal seems to be letting out almost to the top??? what gives??? hopefully the slave cylinder not my new 1k $ clutch! no slippage and no mods but 110k miles on my 03'

dont buy the advance pads unless you need some good deer whistles!!! I have tried three sets on the front of my 03 and they all squeak! What about the hawk's from geno's?

109k on mine now. - wheel bearings at 88k - brakes all the way around at 105k (just because) - clutch and fifth gear at 105k yes nv 4500 other than that i love it

He priced it a 6k and i forgot to mention that it just had the injector pump redone

hey a friend of mine has a 97 reg cab long bed dually with a steel flatbed on it. Has 227k on it needs painted and fifth gear put back on, has new tires and brakes . I have a third gen truck and was thinking of buying this one for a play toy but dont know what its worth? any help would be great
