Cummins12V98 - Thanks for your response and noted on the AISIN and air ride. I actually have air-bags / on -board compressor on my current truck and use it all the time. So will make sure and add air in the event I find a truck off the lot that doesnt have that option.
EZeis - Thanks for...

Its been a long time since I have been on the forum. Glad to see the RAM religion is still in place.
That being said I am considering replacing my ole truck (2006 3500 Mega Cab 4x4) and could use some counseling as this is a tough decision. Obviously my truck is paid for and for...
Bob4x4 ... ... ..... you do good work!!! ;-) I just found the TSB and it appears to be the fix / answer to our issue. Guess I will try clearing the code and see if that will work for a while... ... if not then will run it by the dealer and have them update.
Thanks again for the information...

I replaced my drive-shaft years ago and can tell you its one of the best mods I have ever done on my truck!!!! Note: My truck is exactly like yours. As far as the part number is concerned I will verify tonight when I get home and post it. And yes when you purchase it ... ... ... . it...

Sorry for the delay... ... . been on the road and just getting back to the forum. That being said I wanted to thank everyone for your responses. All very good points... ... . unfortunately I am still on the fence! ;-) My fear is that if I went with the AE version the difference...

I am hoping to get some feedback for those of you who have switched from the earlier version of the G56 (AD) to an (AE)? I currently have 156K on my stock clutch (I am knocking on wood as I type) and so far no issues. And yes I pull with my truck often!!! I am one of the lucky...
Correction above: The mechanic told me that there HAS NOT been any cases of tie-rod breaks while in transit.
Also Note: Since my repair 2 of my buddies who have 2010 trucks have had the same break however when it occured the tie-rod damaged the rotor. Not good!! Take the time to get this...

I just recently went through this... so wanted to share!!! I had my front-end upgraded about 2 years ago to the "latest and greatest". From what I have been told the original Recall was H46. Since I had the upgrade installed I have put around 50k miles on it. So... . just last...

Not sure what the status is with your drive shaft but wanted to give you my . 02. So I have an 06 Mega which came with the two-piece drive shaft. After some research in TDR I was able to obtain the Dodge part number for the one-piece. Note: I think in 2007 or 2007. 5 Dodge changed...

You should check the over-flow hose which connect to the radiator right under the cap. Everyone of my buddies who had a leak... ... . turned out to be at this location. Apparently Dodge is too cheap to put a band clamp on this hose and so everytime you service the air-filter you...

I too have an 06 and had a similar problem..... however my "neutral" light would stay on 100% of the time. Note: The 4x4 system worked perfectly but the light indicator did not. Dealer said it was a bad switch module (on the panel) which they replaced under warranty. Had I not had...
