I can find no leaks in or under the engine(i had a small drip coming out of the short hose near the turbo last year and tightened it a little which stopped the leak). Im thinking its coming out of cab heater core or hoses. I think the leak is slight as ive probably only lost about 1 qt in the last 2 months but i want to get ready when it gets worse. The problem is i moved to Houston from Vegas in Oct to get cancer treatments and have no tools or a place to work on it.

So my question is where is a good place in Houston Tx to get it done without getting robbed. Example: The stealership here in Houston wanted over $400 to put new Bilsteens shocks on which i supplied.

Any suggestions would be appreciated.

You should check the over-flow hose which connect to the radiator right under the cap. Everyone of my buddies who had a leak... ... . turned out to be at this location. Apparently Dodge is too cheap to put a band clamp on this hose and so everytime you service the air-filter you will bump this hose which gets looser over time. Trust me I have seen this leak on several trucks and all you have to do is put a clamp on it or small tie-strap. Note: Alot of times you wont notice it leaking but if you look at the valleys on the lid of your air-filter top ... you will see the anti-freeze. Also look at your exhaust manifold ... if you see white chaulky substance then that is most likely anti-freeze that has blown on it while driving. The leak amount is relatively small so this would be the first place I would look at on your truck. Good luck!!

I think the small hose by the turbo that you are referring to is the coolant hose between the block and turbo. About 4" long and red? If you search this forum for "leaking coolant hose" you should be able to find a good fix.
In the past 4 winters, I've had mine leak twice. I shimmied my arm up there and snugged the hose clamps and it went away. I've heard the problem is the type of clamp used.

Thanks guys. I clipped off about 1/2 inch of overflow hose going near the fill cap, to get a fresh fit , and secured with a plastic tie. That should do the trick.
