That is what I was planning on doing is the SMARTY but I have just heard so much negative feedback on it that I am kinda second guessing myself. Do you think that the SPS 62 will help this problem?
I dont know if it is the turbo or what but my truck just doesnt feel right. I know that it is making power but it just doesnt feel like it is making enough. It has a new VP44 and stays at 23lbs of fp at idle. I dont know if maybe I should go with different injectors instead of the jammer...
With everything listed in my sig, what do you think that the next mod for me should be. I am in the works to do away with the HX-40 for a SPS 62 from II. Just installed new trans this week and now am looking for more power. The truck smokes pretty badly down low in the rpms now. Just doesnt have...
I am ordering tomorrow and so far have decided to go with the flexplate and input shaft. Do you guys think that I really need the intermediate shaft also? I would like to save the money if at all possible but dont want to regret it. How common are those to break?
I have made my decision and I am going with a Suncoast transmission. I have already decided to for sure go with their converter, billet input shaft, and double deep pan. I am planning on staying around the 550HP range and it is a daily driver. I dont tow with it but if I ever do then it wont be over...
Well to be perfectly honest with ya. When the problem started happening I kinda got a little PO'ed so I found the nearest parking lot and brake torqued the heck out of it. That is the only time that it didnt want to shift back down to first afterwards. LOL. Its not the lockup that it doesnt want...
I took a look at the DTT website and I realize that you get what you pay for but does the price that they show for a performance transmission include the torque converter cause if not then they are about $1200 higher than Suncoast for just the transmission. I want to get the best but dam that is a little high.
They said that the VB is a modified version out of a 2003 48RE. Today everything is working fine but I just have to be very easy with the pedal when in 3rd gear. The VB has only been in the truck about 5 months. I hope that they might test it and use it in the new transmission if I decide to go with them.
