2nd Gen Non-Engine/Transmission wipers still wont work after new motor

Was it a rebuilt motor? I had nothing but problems with 3 rebuilds, returned all of them, not from same place. I bought Dorman - OE Solutions Windshield Wiper Motor Part No. 601-303which is a new motor from advanceauto and it works like a champ. The depth of the spline where it mounts into...

    Engine/Transmission (1994 - 1998) snow plow truck

My recommendations in order 4k governor springs Tune the AFC-smoke screw Those two should get you a very noticeable improvement with out killing your trany. I could add a lot more to the list however that would involve increasing the hp which might kill the trany.

    Engine/Transmission (1994 - 1998) The Holy Grail- '98 QC 12V, how rare?

I also have a quad cab, short bed, 12V, but mine is a built auto. I looked for quite some time several years back for the short bed and had to drive 10 hrs to pick mine up. (Didn't want a rusted out one from around me in the rust belt :) ) I wanted a QC so my daughter could more easily get in...

    Engine/Transmission (1994 - 1998) Im confused...star wheel vrs smoke screw

I sort of have to dissagree with this. The smoke screw is on the back of the AFC and it controls the amount of fuel before boost begins (the starting point for fuel) if is is in too far you will smoke as soon as you put your foot on the accelerator. The star wheel pushes on the AFC spring...

2nd Gen Non-Engine/Transmission Deleting the height sensing proportion valve?

You can replace the valve with: Brakeware/Brake Hose - Rear (70032) | 1998 Dodge RAM 2500 3/4 ton 4WD 6 Cylinders D 5. 9L Turbo Diesel | AutoZone.com Which is for the non weight sensing rear ends. I forget if you have to run new lines on the axle. . Or you could zip tie the arm all the way...

    2nd Gen Non-Engine/Transmission Drivers seat

There is a guy local to me that was able to match the original dodge fabric and really firmed up the seat with new padding, it is great. He does advertise every so often on E-bay for the service. I think his user name is mcmahonmopar, if you do a search under ram seat upholstery you should find it.

Engine/Transmission (1994 - 1998) Rear main seal wear sleeve tool

I had a large 1/2 thick piece of aluminum that I used to gradually tap the ring on and it worked well. Maybe I got lucky. .

    Engine/Transmission (1994 - 1998) white smoke while warming up

I would first suspect the relays that activate the grid. One of them could have given out. I replaced both of mine and they now work great. Here is a link to my r&r. Diving in head first with my new 12v - Page 5 - Dodge Cummins Diesel Forum

    Engine/Transmission (1994 - 1998) 47RE about to bite the dust!

I believe that that is the "tip" of the band adjuster (the part that the adjuster bolt pushes on). The adjuster probably split the tip and that is where you looseness came about. circled on my pic
