Just don't do it, keep the 12 valver until the wheels go square. The 01 will run better, but you will HATE the fuel economy. Just my . 02cents.

The '94 of course had 12 and the 2001 has 24. I do think the 24 valver is a bit quieter, but that could just be better insulation in the truck. The six speed also took care of the hole between 3rd and 4th. ------------------
